Kayla Marshwood
the NHFG Watershed Education Program & Trout in the Classroom w/ Kayla Marshwood
A NH native, Kayla Marshwood grew up in the Monadnock Region and attended the University of New Hampshire. After graduating with a B.S. in Zoology and a M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education she moved north to teach at Groveton High School as a science teacher for several years. After fulfilling her time as a public-school teacher, she moved to Maine to work in an environmental analysis laboratory for a short time before going to work for NH Fish and Game at the Powder Mill Fish Hatchery in 2021. Kayla is now part of the education unit working with educators and volunteers across the state to better understand the state’s aquatic resources. In her free time Kayla likes to kayak, fish, hike, play in various sport leagues, read, and photograph nature.
Kayla’s talk will be focused on the NHFG Watershed Education Program (WEP) and Trout in the Classroom. The impact of this program on NH youth will be discussed as well as how volunteers are vital to this program’s growth and success.

2025 FLY FISHING FILM TOUR
The annual Fly Fishing Film Tour is a traveling roadshow of the best fly fishing films in the world. Through a submission process, films are selected to bring some of the best content to the big screen in your hometown. The F3T is more than just the film, our shows aim to create community, inspire, encourage and support conservation efforts worldwide. Each evening is complete with a live emcee, raffle & door prizes from our premium sponsors, local fly shops and more. Come for the action, stay for the camaraderie, and sip hard cider—all while helping to raise money for the waters we love. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Coastal Conservation Association. For the first hour, Coach Rebecca will lead you through a heart pumping, bodyweight strength class that is suitable for all levels! All you need for the class are a good pair of sneakers, a workout mat, and some water.
After class, unwind and enjoy a tasty 12 oz pour of hard cider, which is included in your ticket. (Non-alcoholic cider seltzer is also available).

Join us for an afternoon of pottery-making and hard cider with Dover Pottery Studio! Come create a beautiful handcrafted planter while enjoying delicious cider in a friendly and creative atmosphere.
In this hands-on session, you’ll create your very own unique flower/plant pot using a variety of hand-building and clay construction techniques. This session is designed for all skill levels. After the session, our studio staff will glaze and fire your creations, making them ready for pick-up approximately four weeks after the workshop.

Join us for an afternoon of learning pretty lettering while sipping cider! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY spouse-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. Instructor Kristen Grady will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor and more! The perfect crafty day out!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Join us in celebrating the release of our seasonal SUGAR SHACK hard cider with a free pancake breakfast!
The North Country team will be flipping flapjacks from 10am until noon (or until they're gone!) SUGAR SHACK - a sweet hard cider made with fresh ginger, maple syrup from Giles Farm (ME) and walnut, will be available on tap and in cans to go.
Drizzle maple syrup (from Giles) on your short stacks, and grab a pour of Sugar Shack (in a limited edition glass!) while you sip sparkling hard cider. There will be a batch of GF pancake options too!

Recommendations for Wild Trout Management in NH w/ STEVE ANGERS
A native of New Hampshire, Steve Angers has spent more than fifty years in the pursuit of and preservation of wild brook trout. Since catching his first brook trout at the base of Champney Falls in 1964, he has traveled far and wide through New England's beautiful landscapes, ultimately returning to New Hampshire. Steve is an accomplished fly tyer who enjoys old-school patterns as well as creating new patterns. When Steve isn't fishing, he works with Trout Unlimited protecting wild brook trout habitat. Steve owns and operates the North Country Angler in North Conway.

Sue Daignault
FISHING MAINE & BEYOND w/ SUSAN DAIGNAULT
Susan Daignault has been fishing her whole life, from childhood summers spent surfcasting for stripers in Cape Cod to catching halibut from a Coast Guard cutter while stationed in Alaska. She graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a degree in marine engineering and served for thirty years. She is now an occupational safety consultant, a Registered Maine Guide, and a Certified Casting Instructor from Fly Fishers International. Her love of fishing has led her to travel around the U.S. and the world, and she now resides in Harpswell, Maine with her spouse, Karen.
Sue will be appearing at The Fly-Fishing Show in Marlborough, MA. Her recently published book, “A Full Net”, is a great set of “fish stories” in the company of family and friends.
