Center for Wildlife is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate and strengthen relationships between humans, wildlife and the environment resulting in a healthier, more sustainable community.

GET TO KNOW WINTER WILDLIFE
Swing by the tasting room on a Saturday afternoon to learn all about the lives of wildlife in winter. Expert naturalist and bird whisperer, Dan Gardoqui will be on site to share all about the amazing adaptations wildlife use to survive the rugged winter season. From nightly hypothermia to freezing solid, different critters use their wild superpowers every single day. Dan will bring along hands-on props to engage your senses! Notes: Family & Dog-Friendly event. If conditions are right, we may do a little wildlife tracking outside, too!
About Dan: Dan Gardoqui has been helping people connect with the more-than-human-world for over 30 years. Dan co-founded and led White Pine Programs for 20 years and is a Registered Maine Guide and Certified Wildlife Tracker. Dan currently runs Lead with Nature, where he offers nature-based consulting, training and guide services.
